The Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council presents a "know-your-rights" webinar created for Downtown Los Angeles workers in the hospitality industry (bars, restaurants, and hotels), though we encourage all DowntownLA employees to attend.

The event seeks to provide information to workers about their workplace rights and make Downtown Los Angeles’s employee stakeholders aware of DLANC as a community resource and organization they can get involved in.

Our event will feature a panel of employment law enforcement representatives from the following government agencies: the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, the California Labor Commission, and CalOSHA.Speakers will talk to workers about their workplace rights, including rights related to fair pay and workplace safety, rights against retaliation, and information on how to file a complaint.

The Bartenders’ Guild is partnering with DLANC to help reach out to stakeholders and hospitality industry workers. See you there!
