About the Project
The Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council (DLANC), in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services (StreetsLA) and Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative (LANI), is gathering community input for the DTLA Wayfinding & Transit Amenities Project.
Funded through Metro ExpressLanes Net Toll Revenue, the project will add amenities that make it easier to walk, navigate, and connect to transit in Downtown Los Angeles.

The project will focus on key Downtown corridors, including Flower, Grand, and Olive, connecting residents, workers, visitors, and transit riders to major destinations and future LA 2028 Olympic venues.
The project also includes sidewalk repairs and electrical upgrades to support transit amenities.
Proposed locations are being coordinated with local Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and Downtown stakeholders.

Where should these amenities go? Tell us which locations could best serve the Downtown community and improve connections to transit, destinations, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Community feedback will help guide proposed locations. Final locations will be determined by the City and LANI based on technical feasibility, including power and utility access, sidewalk clearance, historic preservation, and proximity to high-volume transit connections such as bus stops and Metro rail.
Proposed sites will also undergo civil and electrical review, and some locations may change following community input.
