Phase 6 construction continues on the 7th Street Streetscape Improvement Project to make Downtown  LA safer for pedestrians and cyclists. During the next road closure, 7th Street from Broadway to Hill Street will be closed to through vehicular traffic from May 18, 2024 to July 6, 2024. St. Vincent Court will remain open from Hill Street going eastbound along 7th Street for local access only. Broadway and Hill Street will remain open at all times during the street closure.

Due to emergency work needed by LADWP to replace an electrical vault, there will be a partial closure starting May 20, 2024 on 7th Street from Hill Street and Olive Street for approximately 6 weeks. Mercury Court can only be accessed from Hill Street going westbound along 7th Street. Please see the attachment for more information.

Pedestrian and vehicular access are provided to the local businesses and residents. DTLA residents are encouraged to prepare for intermittent machinery noise and dust and plan accordingly for additional traffic. There will be flaggers to assist with local access and for traffic circulation.
