Voter Information
In-Person Voting Location
Central Library, 630 W. Fifth St., Los Angeles 90071. Polls will be open from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.
(You will need to bring qualifying documentation with you, but do not need to pre-register!)

Voting-by-Mail
If you have successfully completed the vote-by-mail application, you should receive your ballot in the mail with full voting instructions.
Your completed Ballot must be postmarked and mailed no later than Thursday, May 4th (and received within 10 days) to be counted. Otherwise, you may drop off your completed Ballot at the Central Library polling location from 1:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, May 4th.
Voting Provisionally
Provisional voting entitles any voter who claims a stake in the Downtown Los Angeles NC an opportunity to vote even though their eligibility to vote cannot be immediately determined at the polling place. The content of a Provisional Ballot will be the same as a regular ballot, but it must be cast “provisionally” until the City Clerk can verify the voter’s eligibility. Provisional voters will have three business days after Election Day to submit any information necessary for the City Clerk to determine their eligibility to vote and count their ballot.
Voters who were mailed a VBM ballot and wish to vote at a polling place must vote provisionally to prevent double voting. The vote will be included in the tally once it is confirmed the VBM ballot was not received by the City Clerk.
Voter Guide
Printed DLANC Voter Guide is included in the April 20th Edition of the DTLA Weekly (150 Locations including City Hall, Staples Center/LA LIVE, Figat7th, LA Convention Center, Union Station, Japanese Plaza, Expo/USC, RowDTLA, The Bloc, JW Marriott, Grand Central Market and the Ritz Carlton.)
The Voter Guide contains a picture and statement from all participating Candidates, as well Voting Instructions and other useful voting information.

Candidate Forum
Held at the Deaton Auditorium, LAPD Headquarters, Voters were able to watch live several Candidates answer moderated questions. You can watch a video of the event Here.

All (DLANC specific) elections questions should be emailed to Elections@DLANC.org (with an approximate response time of within 48 hours) or by writing to Clerk.ElectionsNC@LACity.org for more general Neighborhood Council election issues.
Definitions
Stakeholder
A Stakeholder is anyone who lives, works, or owns real property within the DLANC’s boundaries, and does not have to be a citizen of the United States. A Stakeholder who participates in the elections must be a minimum of 16 years old.
Community Interest Stakeholder
This is a person that does NOT live, work or own property within the DLANC region. However, this individual has some other connection to the community. (Examples of Community Organizations may include Chambers of Commerce, houses of worship or other faith-based organizations, educational Approved by Dept. of Neighborhood Empowerment 7.1.22 5 institutions, or non-profit organizations.)
