Local Business Assistance Resource Center (LBARC)

The Local Business Assistance Resource Center is being established by the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department to support local businesses and their staff adversely affected by curfews, vandalism, disruption to customer access, and loss of revenue during the early June demonstrations. Its primary mission is to help businesses recover, rebuild, and restore operations through targeted assistance, financial aid, and community engagement.

Purpose and Focus

  • Physical damage to property or inventory
  • Temporary closures or loss of revenue
  • Disruption to supply chains or customer access
  • Emotional and community trauma impacting staff and operations

The Small Business Administration (SBA) will also be present at the LBARC to assist with disaster loan inquiries. In addition to their presence here, the SBA also has a separate location where they can provide one-on-one support for completing your disaster loan application. This location has no closure date as of yet.
