What A mini-park for a day in a metered street parking spot
The DLANC Complete Streets Working Group will host a Park(ing) Day spot in front of LA Cafe, 9AM-2PM. Come learn about complete streets, parklets, and other grassroots initiatives DLANC is spearheading to reconsider our public realm to better serve users of all modes of transport, ages and abilities.
We’ll have surveys on hand asking what you think about parklets (what’s a parklet? see this link: http://sfpavementtoparks.sfplanning.org/index.htm) and what you’d like to see/enjoy in parklets in Downtown LA.

Metro will host a community update meeting for the Restoration of Historic Streetcar Service in Downtown Los Angeles Project to discuss the results of the initial screening of alternatives. Metro will make a brief presentation outlining the screening process and describe the project alternatives that will be further evaluated and considered for the locally preferred alternative.
