MEETING AGENDA

1. Call to order and roll call.

2. Public comment – Comments from the public on non-agenda items within the Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction. Public comments are limited to two (2) minutes per speaker.

3. Presentation by Andie Adame (Craig Lawson & Co) regarding the proposed Marriot Hotel project (LASED Specific Plan) located at 901 W. Olympic Blvd.
Proposed action: PLUC to recommend that DLANC write a letter of general support.

4. Presentation by Yuval Bar-Zemer (Linear City Development) regarding a proposed restaurant project at 2121 E. 7th Place.
Proposed action: PLUC to recommend that DLANC write a letter of support.

5. Presentation by Yuval Bar-Zemer (Linear City Development) regarding a proposed restaurant project at 712 Santa Fe Avenue.
Proposed action: PLUC to recommend that DLANC write a letter of support.

6. Discussion of DLANC area projects proposed for No Position:

a. 525 S. Flower – categorical exemption: office tenant improvements

b. 322 W. 7th Street – Mills Act: Historic Cultural monument

7. Discussion regarding AIA-Civics Committee proposal for a mayoral candidate forum focusing on City planning and development issues.
Proposed action: PLUC to recommend that DLANC support proposed candidate forum, including financial sponsorship.

8. Approval of minutes from prior meeting: June 21.
Proposed action: Past meeting minutes to be approved.

9. Future agenda items. Next meeting August 16.

10. Board member comment – Comments from Board members on subject matters within the Committee’s jurisdiction.

11. Adjournment.

Comments from the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that is within the Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction will be heard during the public comment period.
