The Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council ("DLANC") is governed by a 27-member Board of Directors, whose members may also be appointed by the Board's Executive Committee to two other Board Committees. The Executive Committee can further establish Standing Committees to oversee different subject matters. Ad-Hoc Committees are formed to address particular issues, such as gathering together interested stakeholders in order to demonstrate the viability of a new Standing Committee on a particular subject.
